Commander: Arna Kennerüd, Skycaptain

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain heads an Esper counter-doubling and attachment-copying engine. The deck's primary plan is to suit Arna with equipment and auras, then attack to double every kind of counter on her and create token copies of each attached permanent. This exponential growth turns a single +1/+1 counter into a massive board presence in just two combat steps. The deck also leans on a Gideons-planeswalker subtheme, using them as resilient threats and value engines. The ultimate win condition is overwhelming combat damage from a heavily upgraded Arna, often enabled by Blade of Selves to hit all opponents simultaneously. The plan is supported by proliferate effects, a modest recursion suite, and a handful of tutors for planeswalkers.
