Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Lifegain Midrange strategy commanded by Liesa, Shroud of Dusk. It blends aggressive aerial pressure with group-slug attrition and defensive life buffering. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through artifacts like Sol Ring and Talisman of Hierarchy while deploying incremental tax engines like Kambal, Consul of Allocation and Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff. Deploying Liesa on Turn 4 immediately taxes every spell cast by any player for 2 life. Liesa's 5/5 flying lifelink body offsets this life loss on your own turn while compounding life totals through synergy engines like Righteous Valkyrie, Archangel of Thune, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. The deck protects its board using Flawless Maneuver, Teferi's Protection, and Grand Abolisher. It closes games on Turns 6 to 7 with an evasive alpha strike powered by Akroma's Will, a lethal Debt to the Deathless, or continuous drain.
