Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Zombie Tribal Aristocrats build helmed by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist. Its primary strategy revolves around establishing a resilient board of Zombies, leveraging discard synergies and token producers to amass a critical mass of undead creatures, and converting them into lethal life drain through redundant aristocrat payoffs. Hashaton, Scarab's Fist turns discarded creature cards into 4/4 black Zombie tokens for {2}{U}, providing explosive mid-game board expansion alongside powerhouse token generators like Grave Titan and God-Eternal Oketra. As the Zombie horde swells, sacrifice outlets such as Viscera Seer and Woe Strider pair with drain engines like Corpse Knight, Wayward Servant, Plague Belcher, and Vengeful Dead to steadily deplete opponent life totals. Explosive burst damage is achieved through Gray Merchant of Asphodel and mass reanimation via Zombie Apocalypse. While the deck lacks fast mana, dedicated tutors, and stack interaction, its dense internal redundancy and strong graveyard recursion provide consistent, grinding inevitability in mid-power multiplayer pods.
