Deck overview

This Azorius deck helmed by Tura Kennerud, Skyknight blends spellslinger token generation with an equipment voltron subtheme. The primary plan is to cast instants and sorceries to generate 1/1 Soldier tokens (from Tura) and draw cards (via Archmage Emeritus, Raff, Weatherlight Stalwart, etc.), while tutoring for powerful equipment like Colossus Hammer or Genji Glove to suit up Tura or another legendary creature. Combat damage, often multiplied by double strike and extra combat steps, is the main win condition. The deck also leverages Taigam, Ojutai Master to make spells uncounterable and rebound, and Zethi, Arcane Blademaster to recast instants from the graveyard. A dense counterspell suite protects the game plan.
