Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Landfall Midrange strategy built around Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The early game focuses on accelerating mana through cheap ramp spells like Explore, Growth Spiral, and mana dorks to deploy Aesi on Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Aesi converts every land drop into fresh cards, quickly refueling your hand and digging into powerful late-game threats. In the mid-to-late game, the deck leverages mass landfall triggers with cards like Scute Swarm, Titania, Nature's Force, and Koma, World-Eater to construct an overwhelming board. Trample enablers such as Thunderfoot Baloth and Aggressive Mammoth ensure that massive token swarms bypass blockers to close out the game over two combat turns. Defensive interaction like Counterspell, Force of Negation, and Beast Within protects key engines and answers opposing win attempts.
