Deck overview

This deck is an optimized four-color midrange list built around Atraxa, Praetors' Voice and a dedicated poison and proliferate engine. The deck utilizes seventeen low-cost ramp pieces—including Talismans, Signets, and green mana dorks—to reliably deploy Atraxa on Turn 3 or 4. Once on the battlefield, the primary strategy infects all opponents with a single poison counter using cards like Ichor Rats, Bloated Contaminator, or Vraska's Fall, then rapidly proliferates them to 10 poison using compounding engines like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus and Evolution Sage. Atraxa provides supreme board defense through flying, vigilance, deathtouch, and lifelink, letting you play defensively while your opponents' clocks tick down.
