Deck overview

This mono-blue deck leverages Orvar, the All-Form to generate overwhelming value by cloning permanents whenever they are targeted with low-cost instants and sorceries. Early turns focus on mana smoothing and artifact acceleration to deploy Orvar safely on Turn 4. Once Orvar is active, single-mana spells like Shore Up, Magic Damper, and Octopus Form pull double duty: protecting the commander with hexproof while creating token copies of lands, ramp permanents, or high-value creatures. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by cloning utility powerhouses like Peregrine Drake for mana bursts, Mulldrifter for deep card advantage, and Ultimecia, Temporal Threat to tap down opposing boards. Without dedicated infinite buyback loops, the deck wins through combat by attacking with an evasive army of cloned flyers and unblockable threats over two consecutive combat cycles, concluding the game on Turn 8.
