Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Control-Combo strategy led by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager. The primary game plan controls the board through asymmetric hand disruption, creature removal, and planeswalker card advantage before executing a decisive combo finish. The deck leverages disruptive engines like Narset, Parter of Veils and Notion Thief paired with Teferi's Puzzle Box to empty opponent hands, alongside taxing effects from God-Pharaoh's Statue and search denial from Ashiok, Dream Render. Once mana is established around Turn 6, the deck closes the game instantly through either Leveler paired with Thassa's Oracle or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind enchanted by Curiosity. While the deck generates high card volume and possesses diverse removal, its reliance on natural card digging over direct tutors and a light stack-protection package require careful timing when deploying fragile win conditions.
