Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Ninjutsu and creature-toolbox strategy that uses The Ur-Dragon as a commander for full color access and eminence cost-reduction on changelings. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap, evasive enablers on Turn 1, tutoring key Ninjas such as Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow or Satoru Umezawa on Turn 2, and initiating Ninjutsu triggers on Turn 3. The deck generates card advantage and table-wide life loss through Yuriko triggers while cheating high-impact creatures like Fallen Shinobi, Silent-Blade Oni, and Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni into combat. A rich suite of creature tutors and reanimation spells provides high functional redundancy and resilience against early removal. Without fast mana rocks or compact infinite combos, the deck steadily snowballs board presence into a decisive multi-ninja combat clock around Turn 6, aiming to close the game by Turn 8 through accumulated burn, stolen opposing resources, and overloaded Cyclonic Rift.
