Gandalf, Party Guest by Atlas26

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest is a Jeskai spellslinger/Wizard-tribal value deck. It builds a critical mass of legendary Wizards so that Gandalf's beginning-of-combat trigger can cast big instants and sorceries for free. The primary finish is Insurrection, often freecast once Gandalf's X reaches 8, or a token army generated by Talrand, Deekah, and Rite of the Dragoncaller. A secondary, self-contained combo pairs Naru Meha with Irenicus's Vile Duplication for infinite Wizard tokens. The commander is the deck's main outlet but not an absolute requirement; draw spells, flashback from Lier, and Wizard payoffs let the plan continue if Gandalf is answered.
