Deck overview

This deck is a four-color polymorph control deck helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. By entirely omitting low-cost creature cards from the 99, the deck guarantees that every polymorph trigger hits an overwhelming, high-CMC bomb. The early game focuses on deploying 2-CMC mana rocks and noncreature token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, the commander enters and immediately uses its -3 ability to cheat massive threats like Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, or Avacyn, Angel of Horror onto the battlefield. Backed by efficient white spot exile removal and token-producing sweepers like Sunfall and White Sun's Twilight, the deck controls opposing boards while closing the game through massive combat damage and lethal life-drain triggers over three response cycles.
