Commander: Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck pilots Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest as a Golgari sacrifice value engine, aiming to drain opponents through death triggers while growing an overwhelming board of +1/+1-countered creatures. The primary game plan is to establish a sacrifice loop with token generators (Tendershoot Dryad, Mycoloth, Awakening Zone) and outlets (Viscera Seer, Ashnod's Altar, Priest of Forgotten Gods), constantly drawing cards and draining life via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Moldervine Reclamation. Mazirek turns every sacrifice into a global pump, turning small tokens into lethal threats. Finishers include Exsanguinate for a life-drain burst, Overwhelming Stampede to trample over opponents, or simply overwhelming combat damage from a massively grown board. The deck lacks fast combo lines and relies on incremental value, grinding out games through attrition.
