Father and Son by Kahleeb

Format: Commander

Commander: Atreus, Impulsive Son and Kratos, Stoic Father

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai experience-counter deck built around the Partner-Father & son pair Kratos and Atreus. The primary plan is to attack with Gods and other legendary creatures to generate experience counters, then convert those counters into card draw, +1/+1 counters, and proliferate triggers to snowball into a wide, evasive, or unblockable combat kill. Secondary paths include extra combat steps with Karlach and World at War, and a token-generating engine with Otharri and The Locust God. The commander pair is the engine: Kratos rewards God attacks and deaths, while Atreus converts experience into draw and direct damage. The deck is built to use both faces of the pair, with Kratos as the primary attacker and Atreus as the payoff/draw engine.
