Eggman by tjc040506

Format: Commander

Commander: Dr. Eggman

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis artifact deck, helmed by Dr. Eggman, is a midrange value engine that leverages the commander's villainous choice to draw cards and cheat out Construct, Robot, or Vehicle threats from hand. The primary game plan is to establish early cost reducers, deploy Dr. Eggman, and then grind out advantage through end-step triggers, while the discard subtheme (Megrim, Waste Not, Bandit's Talent) punishes opponents' decisions. The deck wins through combat damage from evasive, high-power artifact creatures like Krang, Utrom Warlord, Myr Battlesphere, and Ultron the Annihilator, with a secondary poison route via Virulent Silencer. It lacks fast combos, relying on incremental value and board control through removal and a handful of counterspells.
