Deck overview

Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER leads a mono-black Aristocrats and combo deck built to control opposing creature boards while racing toward a decisive life-drain finish. Early turns focus on mana acceleration and deploying recurring sacrifice fodder like Ophiomancer and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia to fuel Sephiroth's attack-triggered card draw. In the mid-game, asymmetric attrition engines such as Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and Lethal Vapors force opponents to sacrifice their boards whenever your creatures die, stifling opposing combat strategies. The primary win condition centers on an infinite life-drain loop pairing Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or South Wind Avatar with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Once deployed on Turn 5, any single instance of life gain or damage sets off an infinite chain that drains all three opponents to zero simultaneously, backed by redundant tutors and protective equipment.
