Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo mill deck commanded by The Mindskinner, a 10/1 unblockable Nightmare that converts all damage you deal to opponents into symmetric mill for each opponent. The strategy aims to deploy The Mindskinner on Turn 3 and attack on Turn 4, immediately stripping 10 cards from every opposing library per turn. The deck magnifies this clock using mill doublers such as Bruvac the Grandiloquent, double strike equipment like Fireshrieker, and burst mill sorceries like Maddening Cacophony. Because The Mindskinner has only 1 toughness and is vulnerable to removal, the deck features an extensive suite of low-cost hexproof auras, phase-out effects, indestructible equipment, and efficient countermagic. Backup plans leverage non-combat mill payoffs and token generators like Abhorrent Oculus and Zellix, Sanity Flayer to maintain pressure even if the commander is taxed out.
