Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir tempo and combat burn strategy built around Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap, evasive creatures on early turns and utilizing commander ninjutsu to cheat Yuriko onto the battlefield unblocked for just {U}{B}. Each combat damage trigger reveals topdeck cards to draw them while burning all opponents for their mana values. Supported by high-CMC spells like Omniscience and Hullbreaker Horror, the life loss compounds rapidly. The deck safeguards its combat engines with format-staple free interaction including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deadly Rollick. While the list features a compact infinite colorless mana combo in Power Artifact plus Grim Monolith, its general execution relies on relentless tempo, commander tax evasion, and steady burn across the entire table.
