Malfegor and his sock of pennies by 3nfy

Format: Commander

Commander: Malfegor

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Malfegor is a disruptive value and sacrifice deck built around resolving a six-mana Dragon Demon while holding a large hand, turning each card discarded into a sacrifice trigger. The early game uses 37 lands and artifact acceleration to reach six mana around turn five or six, with Sign in Blood, Hedron Archive, Ox of Agonas, and Bolas's Citadel refueling the hand. Backgrounds such as Criminal Past, Tavern Brawler, and Dragon Cultist turn Malfegor into a large flying threat, while Mayhem Devil, Forge Boss, and Gut provide drain and tokens. There is no hidden commander and no infinite combo; the win path is repeated commander damage, dragon tokens, and sacrifice attrition.
