Deck overview

This deck is a high-impact Rakdos Dragon Reanimator deck commanded by Rivaz of the Claw. The strategy blends tribal ramp, graveyard recursion, and explosive aerial beatdown. In the early turns, the deck accelerates mana with cheap artifacts and cost-reducers while using cards like Entomb and Buried Alive to seed the graveyard with terrifying Dragon payoffs. Rivaz of the Claw acts as both a dedicated two-mana ramp engine and a recursive pipeline, allowing you to cast Dragons straight from the graveyard. Once assembled by Turn 4, the deck deploys heavyweight threats like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. These Dragons generate immediate board presence and lethal burn triggers, especially when paired with haste enablers like Dragon Tempest. One-sided board wipes such as Crux of Fate clear opposing defenses, allowing an unstoppable flight of Dragons to eliminate all three opponents through overwhelming combat and direct damage by Turn 6.
