Deck overview

The Serpent Society is a Golgari attrition deck that uses deathtouch as both board control and a poison win condition. The primary plan is to deploy cheap deathtouch creatures and convert their hits into poison with Fynn, the Fangbearer, who acts as the hidden commander of the deck. The Serpent Society itself is a low-cost deathtouch body whose death trigger strips opposing nontoken creatures, clearing the way for combat. Secondary paths include Vraska the Unseen's assassin-token ultimate, repeated half-life effects, and unblockable commander attacks through Rogue's Passage or Brotherhood Regalia. The deck trades raw speed for card draw, removal, and attrition, then closes once enough deathtouch attackers are assembled.
