Y'shtola, Night's Blessed anchors an Esper spells-matter control deck: cast noncreature spells with mana value 3+ to deal 2 damage to each opponent, gain life, and draw after any turn with 4+ total life lost. The primary plan is to land Y'shtola early, build a wide token board through Monastery Mentor, Champions from Beyond, and Summon: Good King Mog XII, then close with a Champion 'Full Party' attack or Exsanguinate. Secondary lines use flyer pressure from Alela and Hermes, plus Court of Cunning milling. There is no hidden commander or face to choose; the deck is built entirely around Y'shtola's repeatable drain/draw engine, with the Alisaie/Alphinaud pair as optional value pieces in the 99.
