Hail Mary by user3597527

Format: Commander

Commander: Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Boros deck helmed by Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice blends Angel tribal with a lifegain subtheme, aiming to outpace opponents through incremental combat advantage and a late-game Aetherflux Reservoir finish. The commander provides a flexible buff - trample for red creatures, vigilance for white - and Mentor to grow your attacking force. With no fast mana or infinite combos, the deck relies on a steady stream of evasive Angels and life-gain payoffs like Righteous Valkyrie and Resplendent Angel to close games through combat damage or the Reservoir's life-spending trigger. The plan is methodical: establish early angels, gain life, outpace the table with flyers, and eventually either overwhelm through sheer flying beats or cash in accumulated life for a direct kill.
