Deck overview

This Sultai deck harnesses the power of Jorn, God of Winter to untap snow permanents upon attacking, effectively doubling mana output each combat step. The deck uses low-cost snow ramp spells and dedicated land tutors to establish a resilient mana base while threatening game-ending land combos like Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage to generate a 20/20 flying indestructible Marit Lage. In parallel, the deck leverages large mana reserves to cast massive X-cost Hydras and devastating finishers like Torment of Hailfire. The alternate side of the commander, Kaldring, the Rimestaff, alongside cards like Conduit of Worlds and Blood on the Snow, provides strong recursion from the graveyard. The interaction suite is well-rounded with versatile permanent destruction and one-sided sweepers like Dead of Winter, giving the deck superior mid-game endurance and steady, unstoppable combat pressure.
