Commander: Kodama of the West Tree

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-green +1/+1 counters deck helmed by Kodama of the West Tree, built around the "modified" mechanic: Kodama grants trample to modified creatures (equipment, auras, or counters) and ramps a basic land onto the battlefield every time one connects. The deck layers counter-doubling effects (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, The Earth Crystal, Kami of Whispered Hopes) with landfall engines (Lotus Cobra, Scute Swarm, Bristly Bill, Spine Sower) to build an overwhelming board of trampling beaters, then closes with Craterhoof Behemoth or a massive Finale of Devastation. A dense creature-tutor suite (Green Sun's Zenith, Chord of Calling, Natural Order, Worldly Tutor) makes the plan highly consistent, while Seedborn Muse and Kami of Whispered Hopes provide explosive mana. The primary win is combat damage through a wide, counter-laden board; there are no infinite combos.
