Deck overview

This deck is a Boros graveyard-focused midrange strategy commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser. The game plan revolves around repeatedly triggering Quintorius's ability by moving cards out of the graveyard through flashback, retrace, reanimation, and self-recurring cards like Squee, Goblin Nabob and Shenanigans. Each trigger produces a 3/2 Spirit creature token, rapidly assembling a wide combat force. On Turn 4, Quintorius enters the battlefield to provide hand filtering, graveyard setup, and an initial token engine. By Turn 6, the deck converts this token swarm into a decisive lethal threat by activating Quintorius's -4 ability to grant all Spirits double strike and vigilance, or by deploying top-end finishers like Moonshaker Cavalry. The deck features solid redundancy and resilient recursion engines like Hofri Ghostforge and Sun Titan, but it remains susceptible to dedicated graveyard hate, creature sweepers, and fast noncreature combo strategies due to a lack of stack interaction.
