Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Rakdos Reanimator strategy helmed by Grusilda, Monster Masher. It leverages fast mana, rituals, and focused graveyard enablers to cheat gigantic, oppressive creatures into play well ahead of curve. Cards like Entomb, Buried Alive, and Stitcher's Supplier quickly stock the graveyard with high-impact Eldrazi and Demons such as Void Winnower, It That Betrays, and Vilis, Broker of Blood. Using efficient reanimation spells including Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Exhume, the deck establishes a dominant board state as early as Turn 3. Void Winnower severely restricts opposing responses by shutting down all even-cost spells, while Vilis, Broker of Blood refuels the hand and controls the board. Once established, the deck applies relentless combat pressure and direct tap damage, closing out the game across two combat rotations by Turn 5. Grusilda, Monster Masher serves as a potent late-game engine, stitching together monstrous creature combinations to overcome stalled boards.
