Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy strategy built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. It accelerates mana on Turn 1 with low-cost dorks like Llanowar Elves and rapidly deploys undercosted, high-power beaters such as Pugnacious Hammerskull, Steel Leaf Champion, and Tangleweave Armor. By amassing 10 to 12 power on the battlefield by Turn 3 or 4, the deck reduces Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana. Once Ghalta enters, it fuels potent draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Rishkar's Expertise, refilling the hand immediately. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage, using team-wide amplifiers like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth to eliminate opponents across two attack cycles. While explosive and naturally resilient through high-stat redundancy, the deck relies entirely on combat and remains vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers.
