Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control and cheat strategy helmed by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary goal is to manipulate the top card of the library using tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Soothsaying to cheat enormous odd-mana-value spells directly onto the battlefield when Yennett attacks. The list features a massive payload of game-ending cards, including Expropriate, Breach the Multiverse, Void Winnower, and In Garruk's Wake. While developing its mana rocks and setting up the library during the first few turns, the deck uses efficient removal and stax elements like Fatespinner and Extinction Event to keep opposing boards in check. Once Yennett attacks on Turn 5, she unleashes overwhelming tempo and card advantage, snowballing the board into an insurmountable combat finish by Turn 7. If the commander is answered, alternate engines like Marvo, Deep Operative and Elminster keep the pressure high.
