Deck overview

Queen Marchesa is a Mardu monarch-control deck that uses the crown as a card-draw engine and assassin-token factory. The primary plan is to establish early monarchy, build a wide token board, and convert tokens through sac outlets into damage, card draw, and mana. Secondary paths include goading opponents into fighting, mass reanimation after a wipe, and an infinite sacrifice loop with Ashnod's Altar, Pitiless Plunderer, and Reassembling Skeleton. The commander's haste and ETB make her the fastest way to become monarch, but the deck does not need her on the battlefield to function; other monarch cards and token generators carry the plan. There is no double-faced or hidden commander.
