Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos Goblin tribal engine led by Grub, Storied Matriarch // Grub, Notorious Auntie, blending fast swarm beatdown with potent aristocrat burn triggers. It accelerates in the opening turns through efficient rituals like Dark Ritual and Brightstone Ritual, quickly establishing a dense board of low-cost Goblins. By Turn 4, it deploys premier token multipliers like Krenko, Mob Boss or General Kreat, the Boltbringer, transforming raw creature count into lethal group-wide burn with Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Goblin Bombardment. The commander provides built-in recursion on its Matriarch side and token duplication on its Notorious Auntie attack trigger, ensuring resilient resource recovery against spot removal. While vulnerable to mass board wipes, the deck leverages redirect spells and heavy functional redundancy to maintain pressure, consistently closing out games by Turn 5 or 6 through overwhelming combat damage and unblockable burn.
