Deck overview

Helmed by Muldrotha, the Gravetide, this is a self-mill, graveyard-value deck that treats the graveyard as a second hand. The primary plan is to ramp into Muldrotha, stock the graveyard with Hermit Druid, Hedron Crab, Mesmeric Orb, and Buried Alive, then cast permanents from the graveyard every turn. The headline finisher is Colossification on Muldrotha for a one-shot 26-power commander-damage hit, with evasion provided by Wonder or Archetype of Imagination. A secondary beatdown plan leans on graveyard-sized threats like Lord of Extinction, Consuming Aberration, and Splinterfright. There is also a slow infinite-mana engine built around Kheru Goldkeeper, Phyrexian Altar, and Spore Frog, with Teval, the Balanced Scale or Consuming Aberration as the payoff. The deck wins through repetition and resource advantage rather than a fast combo, and it is much stronger in grind than it is on the stack.
