Deck overview

This Rakdos Dragon tribal deck pairs Ganax, Astral Hunter with Haunted One to generate explosive mana velocity and aggressive board resilience. The game plan opens by ramping through artifacts and cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Rivaz of the Claw. Ganax converts every entering Dragon into a Treasure token, accelerating subsequent high-impact threats onto the battlefield ahead of curve. Once Haunted One is deployed, tapping Ganax through combat or utility tap outlets like Springleaf Drum and Relic of Legends grants all Dragons +2/+0 and undying until end of turn. This anthem and recursion engine lets the deck attack relentlessly while rendering its flying board highly resilient against traditional destroy board wipes. Win conditions center on dealing overwhelming aerial combat damage alongside passive burn triggers from Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest, reinforced by token swarms from Utvara Hellkite and Lathliss, Dragon Queen.
