Commander: Brenard, Ginger Sculptor

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Brenard, Ginger Sculptor leads a Bant token-value deck that sacrifices nontoken creatures with potent enter/leave triggers-especially evoke creatures-and turns them into Food Golem copies. Multiple token doublers (Anointed Procession, Parallel Lives, Doubling Season, Mondrak, Adrix and Nev, and others) multiply each copy, while Panharmonicon and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines double the triggers. The main plan is to amass an overwhelming board and finish with Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, or Altar of Dementia. The commander both speeds up the engine and adds a pump effect; the deck remains functional as a generic token deck if he is not cast, but his recursive copies are the heart of the sacrifice strategy. There is no hidden commander.
