Deck overview

This deck leverages Homer, the Hermit at the head of a high-velocity Sultai landfall and mill strategy. By combining low-cost acceleration with a dense suite of Crabs, Starfish, Changelings, and trigger multipliers like Roaming Throne and Yarok, the Desecrated, every land drop mills opponents for massive chunks of their libraries. The deck rapidly ramps into mass land-entry spells like Scapeshift, Splendid Reclamation, and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, which reliably mill all three opponents out in a single turn around Turn 5. If mill is contested, the deck effortlessly pivots into token swarms using Field of the Dead and Scute Swarm, or card advantage engines powered by Tatyova, Benthic Druid and The Gitrog Monster. Efficient countermagic and free removal provide resilient interaction throughout.
