Smaug the Impenetrable by user6358423

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck uses Smaug the Impenetrable as an indestructible Treasure engine. You deal noncombat damage to Smaug with Pyrohemia, Pestilence, Starstorm and similar effects; each point creates a Treasure, and with Xorn or Pitiless Plunderer the hoard grows fast. Treasures fuel Revel in Riches, Mirkwood Bats drains, and big Dragons. Smaug the Magnificent acts as a hidden commander, doubling Treasures when its attack trigger targets the indestructible Smaug. Blazing Sunsteel and Mayhem Devil turn any ping into infinite damage and infinite Treasures. Smaug attacks with haste for pressure while you assemble the ping engine.
