Deck overview

This deck wins through a widening board of Phyrexian tokens and toxic creatures, then converts combat damage into poison counters. Vishgraz, the Doomhive is the primary engine: it creates three Mites and grows as opponents become poisoned. Ichor Rats, Bloated Contaminator, Evolution Sage, and Norn's Choirmaster accelerate poison and proliferate counters. The main closing cards are Triumph of the Hordes, Beastmaster Ascension, and Craterhoof Behemoth. Ramp is strong for a noncompetitive list, with mana creatures, land-search spells, and Sol Ring, but the deck has limited tutoring and no stack interaction. Its ordinary plan assembles around turn 6, presents a decisive attack around turn 8, and usually needs another combat to finish. Card draw is available from Guardian Project, Welcoming Vampire, Ohran Frostfang, and Toski, Bearer of Secrets, but these engines are expensive and inconsistent. Protection exists, yet the board remains vulnerable to sweepers and disruption before the closing turn.
