Commander: The Notary Hobbits

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-green Eldrazi ramp deck helmed by The Notary Hobbits, a commander that doubles as both a token generator and a mana engine. On entry it creates two non-legendary Halfling copies of itself, and each Halfling taps for colorless - so the commander alone represents three mana sources that scale with token doublers like Doubling Season and Parallel Lives. The plan is straightforward: ramp hard turns 1-3, deploy the commander on turn 4 to establish a token-based mana battery, then chain out massive colorless threats - Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Emrakul, the Promised End, Void Winnower - with Zhulodok, Void Gorger and Echoes of Eternity multiplying their value. Wins come through annihilator combat, Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation overruns, and the Ugin planeswalker ultimates. The deck is a classic big-mana battlecruiser with a token subtheme that feeds both mana and a wide board.
