Deck overview

This mono-black deck pairs explosive fast mana and tutors with a lethal lifegain and drain shell led by Gwenom, Remorseless. Gwenom acts as a Bolas's Citadel from the command zone whenever she attacks, letting you cast spells directly off the top of your library by paying life instead of mana. Her lifelink offsets these life payments while her 4/4 body pressures opponents. The deck's primary victory line leverages Gwenom's attack trigger to chain through the library into a deterministic infinite combo: Bloodthirsty Conqueror paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Marauding Blight-Priest, as well as the alternative storm finish of Sensei's Divining Top and Aetherflux Reservoir. Backed by premium interaction like Deadly Rollick and hate pieces like Opposition Agent, the deck transitions smoothly from early acceleration into a compact Turn 4 table kill.
