Deck overview

The deck uses Grand Arbiter Augustin IV to reduce its own white and blue costs while taxing opposing spells. Its main win is Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal with mana rocks that produce at least three mana, such as Sol Ring and Talisman of Progress. The loop creates unlimited mana, and Walking Ballista converts that mana into lethal damage to all three opponents. Tutors provide good role access, but the list usually needs several turns to assemble the complete package. Until then, it plays a defensive control game with counters, removal, sweepers, taxes, and timing restrictions. The combo can finish immediately once operational, but its setup is exposed to artifact removal and countermagic. Approach of the Second Sun is a slower independent win route. The deck is therefore a general-power control-combo build rather than a cEDH list or a dedicated exhibition deck.
