Fire Master by user9547583

Format: Commander

Commander: Zuko, Firebending Master

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

A mono-red spellslinger that uses the combat phase as a second main phase. Zuko, Firebending Master is the early engine: cheap combat-window casts build experience counters, and Firebending mana funds long spell chains. Damage comes from repeaters like Guttersnipe, Urabrask, Firebrand Archer, and Coruscation Mage, multiplied by Torbran, Ojer Axonil, Fiery Inscription, and Dictate of the Twin Gods. There is no double-faced commander, so no face-choice issue applies; the hidden commander-like engine in the 99 is Urabrask // The Great Work, whose front face duplicates Zuko and whose saga face returns instants/sorceries from graveyards. Secondary pressure comes from The Legend of Roku // Avatar Roku's Avatar face and the Dragon tokens if the shield map wins.
