When Elves Scry by Coomerang

Format: Commander

Commander: Elrond, Master of Healing

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Simic midrange scry deck that converts every look at the top of the library into a growing battlefield under Elrond, Master of Healing. Each scry sprinkles +1/+1 counters across the team, and any opposing spell or ability that then targets those bodies draws a card, so interaction is taxed. The 99 backs the engine with a dense scry suite, Elf bodies, and counter amplifiers such as Hardened Scales and Branching Evolution. Wins are combat-first: Herald of Secret Streams makes the counter-laden board unblockable, Overwhelming Stampede turns the largest body into a table-wide pump, and Raise the Palisade naming Elf clears a path. Simic Ascendancy is the non-combat closer once twenty growth counters accumulate. Elrond, Master of Healing is the primary converter, not a combo piece; Arwen Undomiel, Master Biomancer, and the Elf beatdown plan still function if he is removed. There are no infinite combos. The deck wants to go long, filter with scry, and overwhelm.
