Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Miracle Midrange strategy commanded by Lorehold, the Historian. Lorehold provides continuous card velocity by allowing you to discard and draw a card on each opponent's upkeep while granting all instant and sorcery cards in hand miracle {2}. Because drawing on an opponent's upkeep represents the first card drawn that turn, any instant or sorcery drawn can be cast immediately for two mana. The deck leverages topdeck manipulation tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Scroll Rack, and Library of Leng to set up game-ending sorceries such as Storm Herd, Entreat the Angels, and Reforge the Soul at instant speed for massive mana discounts. A complementary Dragon tribal subtheme featuring Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest provides redundant flying beatdown and direct burn to close out games across multiple combat steps.
