Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov enchantress strategy centered on Killian, Decisive Mentor. It blends tall Voltron combat with forced combat and pillowfort control. Early turns focus on establishing mana cost-reducers and enchantress draw engines such as Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer. Once Killian is deployed on Turn 3, every subsequent enchantment taps and goads key opposing creatures while generating card advantage as those enchanted creatures attack. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by stacking exponential power modifiers like All That Glitters and Ethereal Armor onto an evasive commander or alternate carrier. Defensive cards like Sphere of Safety, Ghostly Prison, and Greater Auramancy protect life totals and permanents, while mass recursion spells such as Retether and Mantle of the Ancients provide exceptional resilience against board wipes. The strategy systematically dismantles opposing life totals over two to three combat cycles while forcing opponents to eliminate each other.
