Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis midrange build commanded by Edea, Possessed Sorceress that combines creature theft, sacrifice value, and a compact self-mill win condition. In the early to mid-game, the deck uses Edea alongside a dense suite of 'Act of Treason' effects to seize opposing threats, attack, and convert them into card advantage through sacrifice outlets like Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools and Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. High-impact threats such as Toxrill, the Corrosive, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, and Dark Depths paired with Vampire Hexmage provide formidable alternate pressure. To close out games decisively, the deck deploys Demonic Consultation paired with Thassa's Oracle, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, Laboratory Maniac, or Doctor Doom, Unrivaled to exile its library and win on the spot. While resilient and full of creature control, it relies on natural card draw and wheels due to an absence of dedicated tutors.
