Mono-Black shenanigans by Jhutt53

Format: Commander

Commander: Vogar, Necropolis Tyrant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vogar is a mono-black sacrifice/attrition deck that treats its commander as a reusable draw engine and board-growth payoff. The primary plan is to generate token fodder, feed Vogar and death triggers, then drain the table with Ayara, Gray Merchant, Kokusho, Vein Ripper, and Bloodchief Ascension, often doubled by Wound Reflection or Archfiend of Despair. Secondary paths are a Phage unblockable one-shot and Bolas's Citadel's ten-permanent sacrifice trigger. There is no hidden commander; the double-faced Aclazotz and Sephiroth are value pieces in the 99. The deck wins by grinding value more than by fast combo.
