Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov combo-control strategy centered around Mister Negative and extreme life-total manipulation. The game plan leverages life-payment engines such as Wall of Blood, Necropotence, and Phyrexian Processor to intentionally reduce your life total to near zero, shielded by safety nets like Angel's Grace, Phyrexian Unlife, and Pact Weapon. Once life is low, resolving Mister Negative exchanges life totals with an opponent at high life. This massive life swing instantly drops the target to the brink of death while triggering lifegain-drain payoffs like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, and Vizkopa Guildmage to eliminate the rest of the table. A redundant suite of blink spells such as Ephemerate and Cloudshift allows repeated ETB triggers to chain life swaps across all opponents. Robust removal and deep card draw ensure consistent progression into explosive mid-game combo turns.
