Deck overview

This deck is a Temur beatdown strategy built around Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk. The game plan revolves around playing Bruce Banner on Turn 1, spending early turns ramping mana, and paying six mana on Turn 5 to transform him into The Incredible Hulk. Because Bruce was deployed early, Hulk does not have summoning sickness and immediately attacks as an 8/8 trampler. The deck attempts to leverage Hulk's Enrage trigger by forcing damage through combat blocks or aiming cheap direct damage spells like Burst Lightning at him to unlock extra combat phases. A backup suite of hefty midrange threats such as Tendershoot Dryad, Combustion Man, and Ruric Thar, Magecrusher provides board presence when the commander is neutralized. The deck functions effectively on curve, but its slow multi-turn clock, lack of tutors, and vulnerability to spot removal keep it within casual battlecruiser dynamics.
