Deck overview

This Gruul deck focuses on Wolverine, Best There Is as a lethal Voltron commander. Wolverine doubles all damage he deals, allowing modest power boosts and +1/+1 counters to scale into lethal commander damage rapidly. The deck supports him with power-boosting enchantments like Raised by Giants and Super Strength, alongside equipment like Saddle of the Cavalier and Vibranium Strike Gauntlets. A suite of fight and bite spells like Thing Swing and Band Together doubles as creature removal while triggering Wolverine's end-step counter growth. Because the deck focuses on single-target combat elimination, it plays as an aggressive midrange deck that removes opponents one by one over turns 5 to 7. Its backup plan relies on large Marvel bruisers like Red Hulk and The Thing, Ben Grimm to maintain board pressure if Wolverine is delayed.
