Deck overview

This Dimir control deck operates under a strict even-mana-value deckbuilding restriction to run Gyruda, Doom of Depths as a companion alongside commander Wrexial, the Risen Deep. The primary victory condition is the compact two-card infinite combo of Duskmantle Guildmage and Mindcrank, which can be tutored via Shred Memory or Diabolic Tutor and activated on Turn 5 to eliminate all opponents on the spot. Backing up this combo is a powerful control shell featuring low-cost interaction, asymmetric creature board wipes like Whelming Wave, and game-warping stax pieces including Notion Thief and Stormtide Leviathan. Should the primary combo be disrupted, the deck pivots seamlessly into big-mana Sea Monster beatdown and graveyard theft, using Spawning Kraken, Gyruda, Doom of Depths, and Wrexial, the Risen Deep to overwhelm opposing life totals with unblockable threats.
