Deck overview

This Orzhov aristocrats deck is piloted by Teysa Karlov, who doubles all triggered abilities resulting from creatures dying. The strategy focuses on establishing early board presence with low-cost fodder and creatures featuring the afterlife mechanic, such as Hunted Witness, Orzhov Enforcer, and Ministrant of Obligation. Once sacrificial outlets like Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, or Yahenni, Undying Partisan are online alongside drain permanents like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Bastion of Remembrance, Teysa Karlov accelerates life total attrition exponentially. The deck turns opponent removal into advantage through death triggers and death-return protection spells like Feign Death and Undying Malice. Additionally, it harbors an alternate two-card win condition via Enduring Tenacity and Exquisite Blood. While vulnerable to mass graveyard exile and lacking unconditional tutors or deep countermagic, the list presents resilient, redundant pressure that closes games efficiently across mid-power tables.
